🚨 Notice for Authors & Artists! 🚨
Beware of Scammers Impersonating Azantian Literary Agents
We have recently been informed of an increase in scammers/AI bots impersonating literary agents at Azantian Literary (as well as other agencies). Please remain vigilant and double check that any communications you receive from an Azantian agent is from our official email addresses or Query Manager accounts.
If you receive a suspicious email from someone claiming to be an agent at Azantian, please reach out to us at inquiries@azantianlitagency.com to verify.
🚨 All Azantian email addresses end in @azantianlitagency.com. Any emails without this, or even slight variations (ex. @azantianliteraryagency.com, @azantianagency, etc.) are not to be trusted.
🚨 While some of our agents may reach out directly to authors and artists on an individual basis, we will only reach out with our formal email addresses and confirm our identity with a secure virtual meeting or phone call. If you receive a suspicious email not from our official accounts, a DM on social media, or another form of contact, please reach out to our Inquiries email listed above.
🚨 All Azantian Literary agents use Query Manager to receive, review, and respond to queries. We do not accept unsolicited queries via email. You can find the individual Query Manager form links on our About Pages.
🚨 Azantian Literary agents (or any reputable literary agent) will not ask for or require money upfront. This is a major scammer red flag. Literary agents are paid on commission, meaning agents don’t get paid until an author gets paid. If you ever receive an inquiry like this, please report it and do not interact.
